We are Kirsty and Alan. We are both medics, and we have a VW T4 that we like to use to travel the UK, see the sights, share our skills, and love of helping people.
With a wealth of experience, we’ve provided care at various levels in hospital and pre-hospital settings. Our backgrounds include working in ICUs, acute wards, and emergency departments. We’ve also attended events such as concerts, film sets, and motorsports. Our experience extends to patient transport and blue light team duties on ambulances as part of medical teams.
Our kit includes defibrillators (AEDs), suction, oxygen, pain relief, catastrophic haemorrhage management, airway management, burns management, medications, and more. We are also qualified to use everything we bring along.
Medical malpractice and public liability insurance are also covered. Anyone who supports us will also have their insurance coverage.
As a husband and wife team, our motivation is not profit-driven. We do this work because we’re passionate about it. While we make money to cover our costs and living expenses, we’re not in it for the millions. We focus on providing high-quality, affordable services rather than lining shareholders’ pockets.
Because of the above, we are often cheaper than many companies, but cheap doesn’t mean poor service; if anything, in our case, cheap means better service because we are working for ourselves, not a faceless person who hides behind the company name.
If we need extra support to cover your event, we have an extensive network of friends and colleagues that we can call upon; please be assured that we pass on what we make to our friends who support us, which means that they get paid more than they would working for other companies.
